SmileDirectClub is seeking a C# / .Net Software Engineer III to join a fast-paced dynamic engineering team working with a suite of domain-driven microservices. Knowledge of C#, .NET Core 3.1, .NET 6 will allow you to create versatile microservices that cater to every facet of the SmileDirectClub business.  In joining SmileDirectClub, you will be part of a team that values quality performance, open communication, and collaboration.

• You will be a part of setting a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence in all areas of engineering and technology.
• Establish and follow coding standards and best practices for .NET microservice development.
• Build internal facing UI’s using Typescript and VUE.
• Collaborate with a team of architects working on multiple diverse projects.
• Follow business requirements to build quality software solutions.
• Analyze and optimize inefficiencies in existing systems.
• Identify and implement enterprise level best practices regarding distributed architecture and persistence at scale.

• Clear and concise communication skills, written and verbal.
• .NET Core 3.1 or later
• Net core, LINQ
• JavaScript, Typescript, VUE
• Exposure to or experience with one additional open source stack e.g. Python, Ruby, Go
• Cloud experience preferably in Amazon Web Services or Azure.
• Test-Driven Development and Domain-Driven Design
• Understanding of Software and Development Life Cycle and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery mechanisms.
• Experience with RDBMS technologies, such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Understanding of multithreaded and concurrent programming techniques.
• 3+ years as a .NET focused software engineer.
